Taysir Abu Saada In 1948, right before the proclamation of the state of Israel, Taysir Abu Saada's parents left their house and possessions in Jaffa as they had been ordered by the Arab authorities. Taysir was born in 1951 in the Gaza strip and grew up in Saudi Arabia - much of this time in Mecca. At the age of 16 he joined the PLO. Being trained as a sniper he was sent on commando raids to Israel. The PLO employed him to train boys aged 9 to 13 years old. Taysir's favourite "leisure-time activity" was shooting at houses and cars of Arab Christians in Jordan. His unbridled hatred expressed itself in his motto "only a dead Jew is a good Jew". In 1993 Taysir had a supernatural encounter with Jesus, which changed his whole life and attitude in a radical way, especially towards the Jewish people. He is still a radical, but now a radical for Jesus and his zeal now is to propagate peace and reconciliation. As a born-again Christian he now preaches the Gospel of Christ, even in mosques. |
Moran Rosenblit Moran grew up in a kibbutz and was rather a wild teenager who did not believe that God existed. At age 19, he joined the Israeli Defence Forces. In 1995, one Sunday morning, his unit was the target of two suicide attacks. 22 Israeli soldiers lost their lives, several of whom were close friends of Moran. This terrible incident drove him still further away from God and drove his aversion to the Arab people to a point that he believed that “A good Arab is a dead Arab.” Completely disillusioned, he left Israel for England and then finally ended up in the USA. There, he was introduced to Jesus by friends and after reading a book, Moran opened his heart and received Jesus as His Messiah. Four years ago, he met Taysir Abu Saada and they became good friends. Since that time, they have often travelled together to bring the message of healing and reconciliation between Jews and Arabs, but also between people and God. |

"Taysir and Moran do not hold all the same views. BUT they are totally committed to putting Jesus first, committed to each other, and committed to reaching BOTH Jews and Palestinians with the Good News of Jesus Christ. This comes before anything else. Taysir and Moran show that this is not naïve idealism, but really works." Their lives have been changed by Jesus, they have learned to love their former enemies, and they have gained a hope for the Middle East. Their message challenges, inspires and encourages us that there is hope for the Middle East through Jesus/Yasuua/Yashua, The Prince of Peace. Taysir and Moran spoke at a number of meetings hosted by 3P Ministries in London in May 2005. Contact us for further details of their ministries. |
